Happy New Year!
Rift Watcher 3: That Last Edenite is up and running (and has been for awhile.) I'm pleased with the effort of my publishing team and my cover artist to put it all together. It took longer than I expected to finish I hope my fans have enjoyed it.
I'm debating about whether the next book will be Rift Watcher 4 since it was a bit of a surprise that I would even need to write a 4th book in Onnie and Darragh's story, or if I'll delve deeper into my character's pasts and get to know them better.
My biggest issue is time. I've spent many years being a writer and stay-at-home-mom. I could pick up my pen between the needs of my home and children. I learned to write a little at a time when needed and could take larger amounts of time away when the stories came to me faster. As a full-time working mom it's a whole other story. I am learning to budget my time differently, but writing is the one thing I am struggling to fit in.
I would love to know other author's suggestions for when to find time to write. Readers, I promise the day will come when Rift Watcher 4 nearly writes itself. That's how it works for me. I hope by then I'll have saved up some vacation time.
